I absolutely love wordle  - I think it’s such an awesome invention.

 

For those of you who are not familiar Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. You can input a string of words or a url web link in which case it will extract all text from the site to create a word cloud.

 

This is what Inscite’s blog wordle looks like so far. I will be creating a new one every so often to see what words pop up.

 

They create fun and engaging image which can serve as an excellent source of marketing your business. This might be a good idea for you small businesses that keep a blog. You can even create your own word cloud and post the image result somewhere in your store or on your web page. You can customize the colors and font. I’m sure your customers will take a second look :)
